Aviation Authorities (FAA): As an FAA Repair Station, we are legally required to maintain and, when necessary, share aircraft maintenance records, owner information, and certification data with the Federal Aviation Administration or other regulatory bodies to ensure airworthiness and compliance.

How long we retain your data

Comments/Inquiries: If you leave an inquiry or comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up communications automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

Customer Accounts: For users that register on our website, we store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

Orders and Maintenance Records: WooCommerce order data is retained for accounting and tax purposes. Furthermore, FAA regulations require us to retain aircraft maintenance, installation, and certification records for specific periods (often a minimum of one year, or until the work is superseded, with some records kept for the life of the aircraft). This data cannot be deleted upon request due to legal and safety obligations.

What rights you have over your data

If you have an account on this site, or have left comments/inquiries, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you.

Important Exception: This erasure request does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, aviation safety, or FAA compliance purposes (such as aircraft maintenance and certification records).
